Our deepest condolences go out to those who lost their lives in the Turkey-Syria earthquake on February 6, 2023, and we extend our sincerest sympathies to all those affected by the disaster.
On February 6, a massive earthquake struck the border region of southern Turkey and northern Syria, resulting in widespread devastation. As of February 13, the death toll in both Turkey and Syria has exceeded 30,000, with numerous buildings and homes collapsing. In the severe sub-zero temperatures, many children and families have lost their homes and are in need of humanitarian aid from the international community.
As a way to help, we will donate 10% of the sales from the "Schmatz Online Shop" from February 6 to February 28 as reconstruction aid.
We pray for the swift return to peaceful days for those affected by the disaster, and we will continue to consider ways to provide support.
